Founded in 1903 by Walter Barrie and Robert Kersel, Barrie Knitwear has been manufacturing cashmere garments in the Scottish Borders for over 110 years.A rare industry today, established in a small town in Scotland named Hawick. Barrie is the oldest Scottish cashmere factory, and also one of the last. Now and since the beginning of the 20th century, Barrie creates soft, and elegant cashmere and make women beautiful and effortleslly chic. Timeless pieces and relaxed shapes are crafted from rich natural materials with elegant textures, while subtle embellishments add a contemporary touch.
